The current project of "SOUL FOOD 2020" is aimed at comprehensively increasing the energy efficiency and competitiveness of the enterprise. As a representative of an energy-intensive sector (KID 56.10 - "Restaurants"), our activity is characterized by significant costs for heating, cooling, lighting and technological processes, which makes us vulnerable to high energy prices. The project envisages the implementation of an integrated package of mutually complementary energy saving measures (ESM). Investments will be made in comprehensively improving the thermal insulation characteristics of the building envelope, including external walls, floors and replacing the joinery with highly efficient ones. In parallel, the microclimate systems will be modernized by installing a modern heat pump installation and an energy-efficient chiller. The final element of the project is the complete replacement of the existing lighting with energy-saving LED technology. The implementation of these measures will lead to direct and measurable results: a significant reduction in final energy consumption, optimization of operating costs and a significant increase in competitiveness. By reducing its carbon footprint, the project directly contributes to the transition to a sustainable, low-carbon economy, in full compliance with the objectives of the Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises Program and the National SME Strategy. This investment is a key step towards achieving long-term sustainability and growth of SOUL FOOD 2020.
