The project proposal of DANUBE TOURS AD is aimed at achieving higher energy efficiency, sustainable development, and reducing the negative environmental impact. The main goal of the project is to reduce energy consumption and achieve independence from traditional energy sources through the implementation of modern technological solutions and optimization of production processes. Within the scope of the project, it is planned to construct a photovoltaic power plant for self-consumption, which will cover a significant part of the energy needs of the production activities, as well as an energy storage system – a battery with a capacity of 70 kW. The implementation of this solution will enable the use of renewable energy resources, which on one hand will lead to a significant reduction in electricity costs, and on the other hand will contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and limiting the company’s carbon footprint. The expected results of the project implementation include improving the company’s energy independence, optimizing production costs, and creating a more sustainable organizational structure. The deployment of the photovoltaic plant and energy storage system will ensure long-term stability of energy supply and allow the company to redirect the saved financial resources towards process modernization, productivity enhancement, and improvement of working conditions. The implementation of the project is fully in line with national and European policies on energy efficiency, green transformation, and low-carbon economy development. Through this initiative, DANUBE TOURS AD will strengthen its position as a competitive and socially responsible enterprise that invests in innovation, sustainable growth, and environmental protection.
