Description

The project proposal of “Rivakomers” Ltd. is aimed at improving the company’s energy efficiency and competitiveness through the implementation of technology based on renewable energy sources. It foresees the construction of a 55 kW photovoltaic power plant for self-consumption, combined with an energy storage system covering the nominal capacity of the facility.

The project seeks to reduce the company’s energy dependence, optimize operational costs, and decrease the carbon footprint of its production activities, particularly in the manufacturing of adhesives – a process characterized by high energy intensity. By utilizing solar energy and local energy storage, the company will ensure more stable and predictable energy consumption, guaranteeing uninterrupted production and better resource management. The introduction of renewable energy and energy-efficient measures will lead to lower energy intensity, higher resource efficiency, and a more sustainable business environment, in line with national and European objectives for the energy transition and climate neutrality.

The investment complies with the “Do No Significant Harm” principle and supports the achievement of national energy efficiency goals. The project proposal is also consistent with the principles of equality and equal opportunities for all. As a result of the project’s implementation, “Rivakomers” Ltd. will achieve substantial energy savings, enhance its competitiveness, and create the conditions for long-term sustainable growth.
