“BULSTAR 10” Ltd is a company with long-standing experience and successful operations in the sector of construction of engineering facilities (main NACE code 42.22). In addition, the enterprise develops a supplementary business activity under NACE 47.59 – retail trade of lighting fixtures, carried out in its own commercial site located in Vratsa, 8 “Georgi Benkovski” Street. The building of the retail store is equipped with outdated window frames without effective thermal insulation and an obsolete lighting system of low energy class. This results in significant heat losses, increased heating and cooling costs, and high electricity consumption for lighting, which does not meet modern energy efficiency standards. Through this project, the applicant intends to implement investments aimed at improving the energy efficiency of the commercial facility, including: Replacement of windows (transparent enclosing structures) with aluminum frames with thermal break, covering a total area of 72.81 sq.m, meeting the requirements for low thermal transmittance (U ≤ 1.8 W/m²K); The investment will be implemented with new, certified, and energy-efficient components, compliant with the minimum technical and functional requirements under the List of Eligible Assets (Groups 12 and 13), and will lead to measurable and sustainable results: reduction of electricity consumption in the commercial site by more than 30%; decrease of electricity and heating/cooling costs; improvement of indoor comfort and working environment; contribution to CO₂ emission reduction and the objectives of the green transition. The implementation of the project will enhance the energy efficiency, sustainability, and economic performance of “BULSTAR 10” Ltd, contributing directly to the achievement of the objectives of Procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 “Energy Efficiency and Use of Renewable Energy in Enterprises”, supporting SMEs in reducing energy intensity and introducing energy-efficient technologies.
