“Paralax Grup” Ltd. is a company whose main activity is hospitality, managing Hotel “Paralax” in Varna. At present, the enterprise is expanding its operations through the commissioning of a new hotel facility, located in Varna, 31 Krastyo Sarafov Street. Given the high share of electricity costs in the hospitality sector and the need for sustainable development, the company plans to implement a project for the construction of a photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) for self-consumption. The investment includes the supply and installation of a PVPP with an output (nominal) active capacity of 80 kW, consisting of solar panels, inverters, a supporting structure, and the necessary infrastructure. To ensure balance between production and consumption, as well as to provide energy security for the hotel, the project also envisages the installation of a local energy storage facility – a battery with a minimum capacity of 80 kWh, in accordance with the requirements of the procedure. The implementation of the project will guarantee complete energy independence of the new hotel building, with the produced electricity fully covering its own consumption. This will significantly reduce energy costs, optimize the enterprise’s energy efficiency, and contribute to achieving the strategic goals of sustainable and competitive development in the tourism sector.
