Description

Project Proposal of “ASTO GOLD” Ltd. – a well-established Bulgarian enterprise in trade and production of fine jewelry with over 30 years of history – aims to enhance energy efficiency, reduce electricity costs, and strengthen the company’s sustainable growth.
The planned investment involves the construction of a 30 kW photovoltaic system with inverters and battery storage for self-consumption. The panel–inverter–battery configuration will ensure stable supply, efficient use of the generated energy, and reduced peak demand from the grid. This will lead to significant savings in electricity costs, higher energy autonomy, and a lower carbon footprint, directly improving the competitiveness of the company in an energy-intensive sector while ensuring uninterrupted production processes.
In addition, the project includes the replacement of metal windows with energy-efficient aluminum frames with thermal break, covering a total area of 110 sq.m. This measure will minimize heat losses, improve air tightness and acoustic comfort, and reduce energy needs for heating and cooling. In combination with the RES system, it will further decrease specific energy consumption and improve working conditions for employees.
The project will deliver measurable energy and environmental benefits, including reduced grid consumption, lower emissions, and decreased operational costs, while extending the life cycle of the building envelope. Its implementation will reinforce the sustainable development of “ASTO GOLD” Ltd., maintain the company’s high production quality and capacity, and consolidate its strong market position both in Bulgaria and internationally.
