MASTER PLASTIK has established itself as a leading manufacturer of AL and PVC window and door systems for 20 years. The company works with the Bulgarian Construction Chamber and successfully sells its products in the EU and the region, with projects in over 10 major cities in the country, Greece, Serbia, and North Macedonia. The company currently operates a newly built production base spanning nearly 3 decares with its own transformer for 2×200kW and is equipped with latest-generation automatic production lines, digitally controlled machining centres, cutting and bending machines for PVC and AL profiles, along with an automated insulated glass unit production with a capacity of 1500 windows/day. The company's long-term strategy includes increasing competitiveness on the national and European markets based on digitization, developing innovative solutions aligned with modern trends and technologies, optimizing production processes with a transition to a circular economy, and a sustainable, long-term focus on environmental protection through the use of RES to prevent pollution and mitigate climate change. The investment planned in this project for the construction of a Photovoltaic Power Plant (PVPP) with batteries for self-consumption will ensure a reduction in grid dependency and price volatility, providing partial energy autonomy and peak-shaving through battery storage. The PVPP will complement the already implemented energy efficiency measures (sandwich panels for facade/roof insulation and floor heating), covering the daytime electrical loads of the digital machines, compressors, HVAC, and lighting. The project implementation will achieve energy savings, increase the share of energy from RES, reduce the carbon footprint, and enhance the economic potential of MASTER PLASTIK, demonstrating a scalable, secure, and environmentally responsible energy transformation in an urban industrial environment, which is in full compliance with the objectives of the procedure.
