The project proposal is aimed at increasing energy efficiency and using energy from renewable sources in the enterprise ELERGON EOOD. Currently, the enterprise is heated with an outdated, depreciated and insufficiently powerful biomass boiler. In addition to heating, there is also a need for thermal energy for the door painting technology. The existing boiler is not sufficient to provide the necessary thermal energy, it is not efficient and reliable, frequent breakdowns lead to difficulties in operating conditions and in the technological processes of painting. For these reasons, the enterprise needs a biomass boiler with an installed capacity of 500 kW and a heat pump (air-water) with an installed capacity of 155 kW, which will reliably and effectively provide the necessary thermal energy for domestic needs and for production. As a result of the implementation of the project, the main objective "Improving energy efficiency and the use of energy from renewable sources (RE) in the enterprise, thereby accelerating the transition of the private sector to climate neutrality by reducing the carbon footprint, optimizing energy consumption and increasing RE in the energy mix of enterprises" and the specific objectives will be achieved: 1. Increasing energy efficiency and the use of RES; 2. Reducing carbon emissions; 3. Reducing energy and fuel costs and reducing the cost of production; 4. Stability and increasing efficiency in heating and DHW and in technological processes. As a result of the implementation of this project, the following results will be achieved; 1. Increasing energy efficiency by more than 30% and the use of RES; 2. Reducing carbon emissions; 3. Reduction of energy and fuel costs, resulting in a reduction in the cost of production; 4. Stability and increased efficiency in heating and DHW and in technological processes.
