The project proposal envisages the implementation of an investment aimed at improving energy efficiency and increasing the share of energy used from renewable sources by installing an energy storage system with batteries and an inverter, integrated into our existing photovoltaic power plant, for our own consumption. The company develops additional activity in the field of technical maintenance and repair of cars (KID 45.20), as the service activity is related to intensive consumption of electricity for lighting, equipment operation, air conditioning and heating of premises. The existing PV plant provides part of the necessary energy, but due to the discrepancy between the periods of production and consumption, a significant part of the produced electricity cannot be used effectively in real time. The installation of a storage system will allow the accumulation of unabsorbed energy and its use during periods of increased load or outside the time of active solar heating. This will lead to an optimal balance between production and consumption, to a lower dependence on electricity from the grid and to a significant reduction in energy costs. The investment will also ensure higher energy security for the enterprise by creating a reserve of electricity in case of possible power outages. This is essential for the uninterrupted work process of the service, which depends on the reliable functioning of power tools and diagnostic equipment. The project will be implemented under the "Minimum Assistance" regime and with a 12-month implementation period. When implementing the project, the company will comply with the EU's horizontal policies on equality and sustainable development, as well as the principle of no significant harm to the environment (DNSH).
