“Stema-08” LTD is a company whose core business activity is the production of all types of printed products and advertising materials, as well as the provision of related services — prepress preparation, graphic design, digital and offset printing, and finishing processes. The company's activity falls under NACE-2008 code: 18.12 Other printing. The operations are carried out in the company’s own production facility located in Varna, Bulgaria. With the current project proposal, the company declares its intentions to implement measures aimed at improving energy efficiency and promoting the use of energy from renewable sources. The project aligns with the company’s development strategy and aims to enhance the competitiveness of the enterprise through the implementation of energy-efficient measures and investments. To achieve the set project objectives, the following activities will be carried out: Installation of a photovoltaic power plant for self-consumption, combined with a battery storage system – 1 unit; Replacement of existing equipment with a new energy-efficient air compressor with inverter control and integrated dryer – 1 unit. The assets to be implemented as part of the project are next-generation technologies, with specifications and functionalities that comply with the requirements and conditions for energy efficiency. The planned investments are listed among the eligible assets in Annex 4.1 of the application guidelines under the current procedure. The implementation of these investments in the company’s operations will contribute to enhanced competitiveness and the development of its potential for sustainable growth. Sustainable development is also a key objective for us, and the proposed project activities are fully in line with the principle of “do no significant harm” (DNSH).
