The Managing Authority has the responsibility to evaluate the Program based on one or more of the following criteria: effectiveness, efficiency, relevance, coherence and Union added value. Assessments may also cover other applicable criteria such as inclusion, non-discrimination and visibility and may include more than one programme. This ensures that sufficient and appropriate evaluation activities are undertaken to be successfully integrated into the Program management and implementation process. The planned evaluation activities will provide insight into the expediency of spending the funds, the effectiveness of the investments made and the degree of achievement of the program's goals. The evaluations and analyses, based on the obtained results, provide guidelines for the strategic development of the Program both for the current and for the next program period.

Извършване на оценка на изпълнението на програмите: Извършване на оценки и анализи съгласно одобрения от КН План за оценка на ПКИП 2021-2027, вкл. за предходен програмен период и такива с препоръчителен характер, произтичащи от изискванията на Регламент 1060/2021, Регламент 1303/2013 и други национални и европейски нормативни документи. В дейността може да се включват, но не само: последваща оценка/оценка на въздействието на ОПИК 2014-2020, междинен преглед на ПКИП, оценка на ФИ по ПКИП, оценка на ефективността и ефикасността от изпълнението по Приоритети на ПКИП, текущи анализи и оценки, оценка на въздействието на ПКИП, предварителна оценка на програмата за следващ програмен период, стратегическа екологична оценка на програмата за следващ програмен период, хоризонтални/тематични оценки, ад-хок оценки и анализи и др.
