“JERAR” Ltd. is a company with the main NACE code 46.36 – Wholesale of sugar, confectionery, and chocolate. The company’s core activity is the distribution and storage of large quantities of food products in a warehouse facility with a total area of 1,496 sq.m. Due to the high electricity consumption required to maintain optimal storage conditions and ensure the proper functioning of equipment, the company incurs significant monthly electricity costs. In order to reduce energy expenses and improve energy efficiency, the project proposal foresees the purchase and installation of a photovoltaic power plant with an inverter with a total capacity of 100 kW, along with a battery of the same capacity for storing excess energy. The implementation of the project will enable the company to generate its own electricity from renewable sources, thereby reducing dependence on external suppliers and optimizing operational costs. The building housing the warehouse facility is leased under a long-term rental agreement (over 5 years), providing stability and sustainability for the investment. The company has already initiated the process of transferring the electricity account to its name with the distribution company, which is currently nearing completion. The project will contribute to achieving greater energy independence, reducing the carbon footprint, and promoting the sustainable development of the company through the use of green energy, while simultaneously strengthening the competitiveness of “JERAR” Ltd. in the market.
