"HELFI PLASTICS" Ltd. is a company specialized in the production of plastic packaging: 19-liter polycarbonate bottles (gallons) for water; PET (polyethylene terephthalate) bottles for the food industry, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries; plastic packaging for food products, etc. The company's activities are carried out in its own production facility located in the village of Mramor, Sofia Municipality. As a manufacturing company where the energy component is a significant factor in forming the final price, "HELFI PLASTICS" Ltd. is faced with challenges related to high energy intensity, uncertainty of energy supplies and volatility of energy markets. To address these challenges and in accordance with the objectives of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 "Energy efficiency and use of energy from renewable sources in enterprises", the project envisages the implementation of an investment under item 15 of the List of eligible asset categories, namely: • Purchase of 2 local energy storage facilities (batteries) in combination with inverters with a capacity of 200 KWh each, which will be integrated into an existing photovoltaic power plant, intended entirely for own consumption, with a capacity of 300 KW; The implementation of the project will achieve a sustainable reduction in electricity costs, optimization of production processes, increase in energy efficiency and a permanent increase in the competitiveness of the enterprise in the target markets. The total value of the investment is BGN 515,532.00, and the duration of the project is 12 months.
