KZU HOLDING GROUP LTD is a company that works in the field of design, production, welding and installation of equipment for industry, energy, oil and gas production. The company is export-oriented and has clients in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. The production program includes the manufacture of tanks, pressure vessels, silos, bunkers, industrial structures, pipelines. The company has an equipped production base in Varna, which meets the modern requirements of the industry. The main energy consumption of the company is related to the use of energy-intensive technical equipment, which is characterized by serious weaknesses in terms of energy efficiency, sustainability and economy. At the same time, the candidate does not have its own photovoltaic power plant that would use renewable energy to supply production needs. In order to meet these challenges and to be able to improve its energy efficiency, the company is applying under procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 "Energy efficiency and use of energy from renewable sources in enterprises". Within the framework of the project proposal, the acquisition of the following assets/equipment is envisaged according to the List of eligible asset categories: 1/ Compressed air compressor (incl. tank) with inverter control and dryer (18.5 kW) – 1 pc 2/ Photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) 30 kW – 1 pc. The planned investments under the project will ensure an overall increase in the applicant's EE, while reducing dependence on conventional energy sources and contributing to more sustainable and environmentally friendly production. Through the optimal use of available resources and the integration of renewable energy solutions, the enterprise will achieve a significant reduction in energy costs, improve its competitiveness and strengthen its position as a reliable and responsible manufacturer.
