The project proposes the installation of a 55 kW rooftop photovoltaic plant for self-consumption at “Graniti Leventi” EOOD., a stone processing company in Sofia, Bulgaria. The investment addresses electricity-intensive cutting and polishing operations and aims to reduce purchased electricity, stabilize energy costs and improve operational reliability during day shifts. The system will comply with the minimum technical criteria: PV modules with ≥20% efficiency, ≥12-year product warranty, ≤3% first-year degradation and ≤0.6%/year linear degradation for monofacial or ≤0.5%/year for bifacial modules over ≥25 years; inverters with European weighted efficiency ≥96%, THD ≤5%, DC input ≤1500 V, monitoring and ≥10-year warranty; an export-limiting device to ensure zero-feed-in operation when required; mounting structures of low-corrosion materials. Future-ready provision for battery storage includes batteries operating at 0–45 °C, ≥5-year product warranty and ≥10-year performance warranty, with storage inverters warranted for ≥10 years. The project is consistent with the objectives of the CIEP Programme Procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 to improve energy efficiency and increase the share of renewable energy used for own consumption in enterprises.
