The company's own base in the town of Lom is used to business processes - production, trade and service operations. The base is connected to and uses electricity from the country's energy grid. Some of the buildings have been renovated by the company, and renovation is planned for others. These actions are resource-intensive and cannot be accelerated without external assistance. It is publicly known that after 2019, in the conditions of the free electricity market, the costs of legal entities increased many times and burdened the economic situation of the company. The provided opportunity for grant financing creates prerequisites for accelerating the implementation of the current goal of the company - the construction of a photovoltaic power plant, the electricity from which will be used for its own needs. One of the renovated buildings is suitable for installing panels for the PvPP. According to an initial assessment, panels can be installed on this building and a PvPP with a capacity of between 50 and 60 kW can be built. This will significantly reduce the company's electricity costs. This project proposal envisages the construction of a PvPP with a capacity of 56 kW, including panels and a storage device - a battery, as well as the related equipment - inverters, electrical and mechanical mounting elements. In compliance with regulatory requirements, the delivery and installation of the equipment (PvPP) will be assigned to an external supplier/contractor. Such a supplier will be selected through a Public Invitation, in accordance with regulatory requirements and in particular - PMS 4 and the Guide for the implementation of this type of project. During the implementation of the project, all applicable requirements of EU legislation will be strictly observed - exclusion of discrimination, avoidance of negative impact on nature, as well as ensuring transparency and appreciation for the funds provided.
