Description

"AIA - ANDREY ANDREEV" ST is a company specializing in the production of upholstered and cabinet furniture - sofas, living room sets, mattresses, bedrooms, kitchens, dining rooms, hallways, children's furniture, office furniture and furniture for schools. The enterprise's activity is carried out in a production facility in the city of Gabrovo.

As a manufacturing enterprise, where the energy component is a significant factor in forming the final price, "AIA - ANDREY ANDREEV" ST is faced with challenges related to high energy intensity, uncertainty of energy supplies and dynamics of electricity prices.

To address these challenges and in accordance with the objectives of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 "Energy efficiency and use of energy from renewable sources in enterprises", the project envisages the implementation of an investment under item 12 of the List of eligible assets, namely thermal insulation of the production building, through:
    •	Laying an energy-efficient system of facade sandwich panels with PUR/PU thermal insulation - 664 sq. m.;
    •	Replacement of 43 sq. m. of old and compromised wooden windows with new double-glazed windows and extruded polyvinyl chloride (PVC) frames;

The implementation of the project will lead to a reduction in heat losses and a reduction in energy consumption for heating/cooling of the production premises. In this way, a sustainable reduction in operating costs, optimization of production processes, increased energy efficiency and a permanent increase in the competitiveness of the enterprise in the target markets will be achieved.

The total investment value is 166 283,86 leva, and the duration of the project is 12 months.
