The project of “ELIKOM ELEKTRONIK – GEORGIEV” KD, Silistra, is implemented under the Competitiveness and Innovations in Enterprises Programme 2021–2027, procedure “Energy Efficiency for Small and Medium Enterprises.” The main objective is to improve the energy efficiency of the company’s production facility, specialized in the manufacture of electronic scales and measuring equipment. The project includes the implementation of energy-saving measures identified through an energy audit of the site. The planned activities comprise the installation of 440 sq.m of external EPS thermal insulation on the building façades and the replacement of 125 sq.m of existing window frames with new aluminum windows and doors featuring enhanced thermal performance. These measures will reduce heat losses, improve indoor comfort, and lower the energy consumption for heating and cooling. The expected results include a reduction of energy consumption by over 25%, lower energy costs, and a decrease in greenhouse gas emissions. The project will contribute to the sustainable development and increased competitiveness of the company through optimization of production costs and improvement of the working environment. The proposed investments fully comply with the priorities of the Programme, promoting energy-efficient technologies and supporting the transition toward a low-carbon economy.
