he project of SIDI–SD Ltd., implemented in Aksakovo, is aimed at improving the company’s energy efficiency and sustainability through the construction of a photovoltaic power plant (PV system) for self-consumption. SIDI–SD Ltd. is a well-established trading company specializing in wholesale trade of various goods under NACE code 47.11. The company operates its own warehouse and commercial base in the town of Aksakovo, which requires constant electricity supply for lighting, air conditioning, automation, material handling equipment, and IT systems used for managing logistics and operational processes. Given the rising electricity prices and the need for sustainable management of operational costs, the company plans to build a 50 kW photovoltaic installation, designed entirely to meet the energy needs of its facility. The investment will be implemented on the company’s existing infrastructure and will include high-efficiency solar panels, inverters, battery storage systems, and a monitoring system ensuring reliable operation and effective control of the installation. The main objective of the project is to increase the share of renewable energy in the company’s overall energy balance, achieving a reduction in carbon emissions and dependence on electricity supplied from the grid. The expected results include a significant reduction in electricity costs, improved energy independence and resilience, and a direct contribution to the achievement of national and European goals for a green and sustainable economy. The implementation of the project is fully in line with the objectives of procedure BG16RFPR001–2.004 “Energy Efficiency and Use of Renewable Energy in Enterprises”, and will have a long-term positive impact on the competitiveness of SIDI–SD Ltd., improve the company’s environmental profile, and contribute to the transition towards climate neutrality.
