The project proposal of “KAMERAL” Ltd. is aimed at improving the company’s energy efficiency and competitiveness through the implementation of technologies based on renewable energy sources and solutions with enhanced energy performance. The investment foresees the construction of a 50 kW photovoltaic power plant for self-consumption, combined with an energy storage system, as well as the replacement of two industrial sectional doors with new ones featuring improved insulation properties. The project aims to reduce the company’s energy dependence, optimize operational costs, and lower its carbon footprint in the production of tubular furniture – a process characterized by high energy intensity. By utilizing solar energy and local energy storage, the company will achieve more stable and predictable energy consumption, ensuring uninterrupted production and more efficient resource management. The implementation of renewable energy sources and energy-efficient measures will result in lower energy intensity, greater resource efficiency, and a more sustainable business environment, in line with national and European goals for the green transition and climate neutrality. The investment is fully aligned with the “do no significant harm” principle and supports the achievement of national objectives in the field of energy efficiency. The project proposal is also consistent with the principles of equality and equal opportunities for all. As a result of its implementation, “KAMERAL” Ltd. will achieve significant energy savings, enhance its competitiveness, and create the foundation for long-term sustainable growth.
