The modern way of life implies many opportunities for entertainment, including the intake of larger quantities of delicious food and drink. Very often the border is blurred and they are overused. After a certain age (30-35 years), people start thinking about their health - satisfied with their income, looking for natural products. Diseases related to the liver are often caused by overindulgence. World medicine has various methods and medicinal products for the treatment of these diseases. At the same time, modern trends introduce the research and development of products with natural ingredients and their use to support liver functions.
The vision of Besta Med is for the company to be a leading player in the pharmaceutical sector in the distribution and commercialization of medicinal products, medical devices and nutritional supplements, as well as a manufacturer of own brand generic products. It was created to provide solutions and services to companies on the Bulgarian and European pharmaceutical market. The company is committed to making healthcare more accessible by providing patients with drugs, medical devices and nutritional supplements at a more affordable price.
The aim of the project is to develop a new nutritional supplement and/or a new medicinal product, mainly containing an extract of Gypsophila species to support liver functions. It was established that the aerial part of the plant contains the flavonoid saponarin, with a pronounced hepatoprotective effect.
Besta Med will develop a prototype of a nutritional supplement to the level of technological readiness TLR 7. The supplement will be a radical global innovation.
The project falls into the thematic area "Industry for a healthy life and Biotechnologies" Personal medicine, diagnostics and individual therapy, medicinal and medicinal forms and means.
The knowledge gathered will help us to develop a product in which for the first time Gypsophila extract is used to support liver functions.

Идентифициране на нуждите и целите, избор на технологии, разработване на хранителна добавка/лекарствен продукт, тестове в лабораторна среда.
Дейността ще бъде изпълнена чрез наемане на квалифициран персонал и използване на собствено оборудване ДМА, необходими за разработване на иновацията.: за изпълнение на проектните дейности по разработване на иновацията, ще бъде нает квалифициран персонал. В рамките на изпълнението ще бъде използвано собствено оборудване ДМА и НДА, необходими за разработване на иновацията. Ще бъдат дефинирани целите и обхвата на проекта, изследване на потребителските нужди, ще се проведат необходимите тестове, ще се разработи подходяща лекарствена форма и проведат тестове в лабораторна и реална обстановка.
