The project of STRONG STROY Ltd. envisages the implementation of measures to improve energy efficiency and increase the use of renewable energy sources at the company’s production and storage facility located in Shumen where its main activity under NACE 41.20 “Construction of residential and non-residential buildings” is carried out. The company operates in the field of industrial and civil construction, performing a wide range of construction and installation works – from residential and public buildings to industrial sites and infrastructure projects. With the aim of enhancing energy efficiency, sustainability, and competitiveness, the project includes two main investment measures: Construction of a photovoltaic power plant (PV system) with an energy storage battery to supply part of the electricity needed for self-consumption, thus reducing dependence on electricity produced from conventional sources; Installation of thermal insulation sandwich panels on the roof and walls of the building where the company’s activity takes place, in order to improve thermal insulation, reduce energy losses, and ensure better working conditions. The implementation of the project will lead to: -a significant reduction in electricity costs; -an increase in the share of self-produced green energy; -improved energy efficiency of the company’s building infrastructure; -reduction of the carbon footprint and limitation of greenhouse gas emissions; -enhanced resilience and competitiveness of the company in the construction market. The investment fully complies with the principle of “Do No Significant Harm” (DNSH) to the environment and contributes to the achievement of national and European objectives for the energy transition and decarbonization. Through the implementation of the project, STRONG STROY Ltd. will achieve higher energy efficiency, lower operational costs, and strengthen its position as a responsible and sustainable company in the construction sector.
