Description

"HEMUS-M" JSC is a company specializing in the production of products from rock facing materials - slabs, tiles and other miscellaneous stone products from Vratsa limestone. The company's activity in processing rock facing materials and manufacturing products from them is carried out in its own production facility, located in the town of Mezdra.

As a manufacturing company where the energy component is a significant factor in forming the final price, "HEMUS-M" JSC is faced with challenges related to high energy intensity, uncertainty of energy supplies and dynamics of electricity prices.

To address these challenges and in accordance with the objectives of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 "Energy efficiency and use of energy from renewable sources in enterprises", the project envisages the implementation of an investment under item 14 of the List of eligible assets, namely:
• Construction and commissioning of Photovoltaic panels in combination with inverter/s with a capacity of 200 KW, intended entirely for own consumption.

The implementation of the project will lead to a reduction in the company's dependence on external energy suppliers. In this way, a sustainable reduction in operating costs, optimization of production processes, increase in energy efficiency and a permanent increase in the competitiveness of the company in the target markets will be achieved.

The total value of the investment is 208,286.00 leva, and the duration of the project - 12 months.
