SD "DIKON - DIMITROV & KOLEV" is a company registered in 1990. Its main activity covers the production of a wide range of various machines and equipment to order from customers, including design, construction and installation of the manufactured machines and equipment, design of warehouses, etc. The company's clients are European and Bulgarian companies mainly in the field of processing industry. The increasing prices of electricity and natural gas in recent years pose serious challenges to the company, both in terms of maintaining competitive prices and in terms of the profitability and competitiveness of the company. Therefore, within the framework of the current project, the company directs its investment policy entirely towards investments to improve its energy efficiency and independence through the use of alternative energy sources, thereby achieving optimization and reduction of electricity consumption. With this project proposal, the company plans, with the support of the procedure, to build a photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) for its own needs, including solar panels, inverters, batteries and other components necessary for the operation of the plant. The implementation of the project will improve energy efficiency by increasing the share of renewable energy in the energy mix of the enterprise.
