The project proposal of RITMO EOOD, with main economic activity under KID-2008 – 46.73 “Wholesale of wood, construction materials and sanitary equipment”, aims to improve energy efficiency and increase the use of energy from renewable sources in the company's activities. The main activity of the company is import and trade in plumbing materials, pipes and fittings, and the investment will be implemented at the address: Veliko Tarnovo, 71 Nikola Gabrovski Street. The project includes the implementation of a complex of energy-efficient measures and the implementation of modern technologies, which will lead to the optimization of energy consumption, reduction of carbon emissions and improvement of the sustainability of the enterprise. It is planned to build a photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of 30 kW, combined with a battery energy storage system, which will cover part of the site's own electricity consumption. To improve the internal microclimate and effective heat management, a 120 kW heat pump will be installed, as well as the replacement of existing lighting fixtures with energy-saving LED lighting fixtures. In addition, six energy-efficient sectional external solid doors will be installed, which will reduce heat loss and improve the insulation of the building. The implementation of the project will lead to a reduction in total energy consumption, lower operating costs, increase the share of renewable energy used and reduce the carbon footprint. The expected results include increased energy independence of the company, higher competitiveness and sustainable development in accordance with the objectives of the Program "Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises 2021–2027", priority "Circular Economy", specific objective RSO2.1. "Promoting energy efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas emissions".
