Description

The project proposal of "SNEZHANA TOUR" AD, a commercial company operating in the field of hotel and restaurant services in the village of Banya, Razlog municipality, is aimed at increasing energy efficiency and reducing dependence on conventional energy sources by building a photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) for own consumption with an installed capacity of 30 kWp.

The energy produced will be used mainly for the needs of air conditioning systems, chillers, restaurant equipment, lighting, pumps, boilers and other electrical appliances necessary for the normal operation of the hotel. In this regard, the project envisages the construction of a photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of 30 kWp on the parking lot of a metal structure, which will cover a significant part of the daily electricity consumption of the hotel. The electricity produced will be used for the needs of the hotel and the restaurant, thus achieving a significant reduction in dependence on conventional energy supplied by the electricity distribution network.

Within the framework of the project, local energy storage facilities (LES) are planned and integrated into the system, which will allow the accumulation of excess electricity produced during hours of high solar activity and its optimal use during increased consumption or in moments of limited consumption. These facilities will be an integral part of the overall FtPP and will ensure greater stability and efficiency of the hotel's energy system.

The implementation of the project will lead to significant electricity savings, a reduction in the operating costs of the site and an improvement in the sustainability of the business of "SNEZHANA TOUR" AD. In addition to the environmental effect by limiting greenhouse gas emissions, the project will increase the competitiveness of the company and will serve as a good example of the application of green technologies in the hotel sector.
