High electricity prices continue to pose challenges to the company's competitiveness. With this project, which is part of the company's investment program, we aim to implement specific measures in the field of energy efficiency. The investment is entirely focused on energy-saving measures to improve the energy performance of the production workshop in the town of Dupnitsa, through the purchase of energy-efficient insulation systems for the building envelope elements of our production facility - walls exposed to outside air and transparent envelope structures (windows and doors). The thermal insulation systems, which are the subject of the project, will ensure the achievement of the indicators set out in Ordinance No. RD-02-20-3 of 09.11.2022 on the technical requirements for the energy performance of buildings (in force from 18.11.2022). The overall objective of the project proposal is related to the implementation of measures aimed at increasing the energy efficiency of the enterprise as a whole, reducing heat losses and the energy intensity of the building, and achieving the standard for annual specific primary energy consumption per unit of area. The investment under this procedure is fully in line with the requirements of the 'do no significant harm' principle toward the environment and achieving climate resilience, contributing to the ecological transition in the enterprise's operations.
