"Nikoil-2" Ltd. is a company whose main activity is retail trade of automotive fuels, operating petrol stations on the territory of the city of Vratsa. Due to the high share of electricity costs in its operations, the company plans to implement an investment for the construction of a photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) for own consumption under procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 "Energy Efficiency and Use of Energy from Renewable Sources in Enterprises". The project envisages the installation of a PVPP with an output (nominal) active capacity of 50 kW, including solar panels, inverters, and the necessary supporting structure. In order to ensure more efficient utilization of the produced energy and to guarantee the energy security of the site, the project also includes an energy storage system with a capacity of 122.8 kWh. This will allow the accumulation of the generated electricity and its use outside peak production hours, thereby reducing dependence on external suppliers and optimizing operating costs. The constructed PVPP will serve the operations of one of the company’s petrol stations in Vratsa, with the generated energy being used entirely for own needs, in compliance with the requirements of the procedure. The project is fully aligned with the priorities for improving energy efficiency and increasing the use of renewable energy sources. Its implementation will lead to a significant reduction in electricity consumption from the grid, reduced environmental impact, and improved competitiveness of "Nikoil-2" Ltd."
