Description

The project of “UNIPHARMA” Ltd. is aimed at improving energy efficiency and promoting the use of renewable energy sources in the company’s building. The main objective is to reduce energy consumption, optimize electricity costs, and achieve sustainable development through the implementation of energy and resource efficiency measures.

“UNIPHARMA” Ltd. is a pharmaceutical company established in 1998, operating as a medical representative, importer, and wholesaler of medicinal products, food supplements, and medical cosmetics. The company represents mainly Spanish pharmaceutical manufacturers and offers high-quality original and generic medicines that are effective, safe, and reliable, covering the fields of neurology, obstetrics and gynecology, cardiology, ophthalmology, and pediatrics.

The project proposal includes combined investments in energy efficiency and renewable energy, comprising the following activities:

- replacement of the existing window frames with new PVC frames with high insulation performance;
- installation of sandwich panels for thermal insulation of the external walls;
- construction of a photovoltaic power plant with an installed capacity of 20 kWp for self-consumption.

The implementation of the planned measures will lead to reduced heat losses, optimized energy consumption, lower carbon emissions, and improved indoor comfort and working environment. The expected result is enhanced energy and resource efficiency of the facility, contributing to the company’s sustainable growth and the reduction of its carbon footprint.

The project is fully consistent with the objectives of Procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 “Energy Efficiency and Use of Renewable Energy in Enterprises”, contributing to the acceleration of the energy transition, improvement of competitiveness, and achievement of climate neutrality in the operations of “UNIPHARMA” Ltd.
