The project proposal envisages the design, construction and commissioning of a photovoltaic power plant, including energy storage facilities in the form of batteries, intended for own consumption. The installation will be located on the roof of the company’s building, where its business activities are carried out. The project activities focus exclusively on solar photovoltaic energy and include the acquisition of technologies and equipment for storage in the form of batteries. The envisaged storage facilities for the generated energy will contribute to balancing the produced capacity and will help overcome one of the main disadvantages of renewable energy sources, namely the intermittency of production. The main objective of the project proposal fully corresponds to the objectives of the procedure – to accelerate the transition towards climate neutrality through improving the energy efficiency and energy independence of the company. Through the implementation of the project proposal, the company aims to achieve the following effects: Reduction of the negative economic impact of frequent fluctuations and sharp increases in electricity prices. Reduction of the company’s carbon footprint and its production through the transition to renewable energy sources. Significant reduction of production costs for electricity in the medium term. The project will be implemented under the "De minimis aid" regime with a implementation period of up to 12 months. In its implementation, the company will comply with the EU's horizontal policies for equality and sustainable development, as well as the principle of no significant harm to the environment (DNSH).
