The project proposal of SIBIYA EOOD envisages the implementation of measures to increase energy efficiency and use renewable energy sources in the activities of the hotel owned by the company, located in the village of Ognyanovo. With the implementation of the investment, the company will significantly reduce its energy consumption, optimize current electricity costs and reduce its carbon footprint, which will contribute to a more sustainable and competitive development of tourism. The investment includes the construction of a photovoltaic system with a total nominal power of 80 kW, mounted on the roof of the hotel, in combination with a local energy storage facility (battery system) with a total capacity of 120 kWh, intended for its own consumption. The system will be equipped with high-efficiency inverters to convert the produced energy and manage the balance between production and consumption. The battery module will ensure the storage of excess energy, reduction of peak loads and use of accumulated energy in periods without sunlight or at high market prices of electricity. The implementation of the project will ensure a sustainable and environmentally friendly energy supply to the site and reduce the company's dependence on external suppliers. The project is fully consistent with the objectives of the procedure, and will contribute to accelerating the company's transition to climate neutrality by reducing the carbon footprint, optimizing energy consumption and increasing renewable energy in the company's energy mix through: - Reducing carbon emissions through the use of clean energy; - Increasing the energy independence and sustainability of the company; - Significantly optimizing electricity costs and reducing vulnerability to fluctuations in energy prices; - Improving the competitiveness and sustainable development of the company.
