VTPG - STROYMAT OOD is a manufacturing company founded in 1997. The main activity of the company is the production and trade of wire products. The product range includes solid and annealed wires, reinforcing mesh, nails, galvanized fence mesh and screed panels. The main energy consumption of the company is related to the lack of thermal insulation of the production building and the use of low-efficiency lighting fixtures in two of the workshops. The negative effect is especially intensified during the winter months with increasing electricity prices. In addition, the high level of humidity in the base affects the quality of the manufactured products, and inefficient lighting negatively affects working conditions and the production process. In order to meet the above challenges and to be able to improve its energy efficiency, the company is applying under procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 "Energy efficiency and use of energy from renewable sources in enterprises". The project proposal envisages the implementation of thermal insulation of one of the external walls of the building using sandwich panels and energy-saving lighting - bell spotlights. The implementation of the planned measures will lead to an overall improvement in the company's energy efficiency, a reduction in energy costs and carbon emissions, as well as the creation of a more comfortable, sustainable and safe working environment for the staff.
