Description

The Zekalabs EOOD project is aimed at increasing the energy efficiency and competitiveness of the enterprise by implementing highly efficient equipment and energy consumption management systems in the company's production facility in the village of German.
The main objective of the project is to reduce energy losses and limit greenhouse gas emissions by modernizing technological systems and using energy-saving solutions. The investment will contribute to long-term optimization of production costs and sustainable development of the enterprise.
The following are planned to be purchased:
- Heat pumps- Justification: Improving the heating / cooling of the premises, which is currently heated by inefficient air conditioners, which makes heating very expensive and with high electricity consumption. Expected savings - 10% less electricity for heating

- Energy-efficient insulation systems in buildings - external insulation, to improve the insulation of the premises and reduce electricity costs. Expected savings - 10% less electricity for heating / cooling

- Local energy storage facilities (batteries): to store electricity produced by the photovoltaic system, to be used in the event of power outages or a drastic increase in the price of electricity, in order to prevent disruptions in production.

Expected results:
-Reduction of electricity consumption;
-Saving of approximately 12,000 BGN per year in energy costs;
-Increase in the energy efficiency of the enterprise;
-Reduction of CO₂ emissions by about 20 tons per year;
-Improved competitiveness and environmental sustainability

The project is in full compliance with the requirements of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 "Energy efficiency and use of energy from renewable sources in enterprises", as it provides for investments in eligible energy-saving measures (thermal insulation, high-efficiency heating, energy-saving lighting) and leads to a real reduction in energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
