The project proposal of "NG PALACE" is aimed at increasing the energy efficiency and competitiveness of the enterprise by implementing modern energy-saving technologies within the framework of its additional activity under KID 55.10 "Hotels and similar accommodation facilities". The company manages "Park Hotel Sandanski" - an established facility in the center of the town of Sandanski, operating year-round and serving the growing tourist flow in the region. In the conditions of increased electricity prices and high energy intensity of hotel facilities, the investment aims to ensure a sustainable reduction in energy consumption and operating costs. The project envisages the purchase and installation of 4 heat pumps of the VRF/VRV direct evaporation system, as well as the construction of a thermal insulation system for the roof structure of the hotel. These measures will optimize heating, cooling and ventilation, improving the energy balance and microclimate in the building. The expected impact of the implementation includes a reduction in energy consumption by at least 25%, a reduction in carbon emissions, increased energy independence and improved comfort for guests. The project directly contributes to the objectives of the procedure - transition to a low-carbon economy, increasing the competitiveness of SMEs and promoting sustainable energy use in the tourism sector. The support is necessary for the implementation of an investment with high social and economic significance, ensuring long-term sustainability, resource efficiency and environmental responsibility in the hotel industry. The investment will contribute to achieving national and European priorities for green transformation of enterprises. The investment is fully compliant with the principle of "no significant harm" (DNSH) on the environment, meets all applicable environmental standards and contributes to achieving the goals for energy efficiency and sustainable growth at national and European level.
