The project proposal envisages the installation of photovoltaic panels with a capacity of 20 kW and four local energy storage units with a capacity of 16 kW each, located at a gas station site, with the aim of reducing electricity costs and improving energy efficiency through the use of renewable energy sources. The initiative is implemented under Priority 2 "Circular Economy", Specific Objective RSO2.1 – "Promoting energy efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas emissions". The project includes the supply, installation, and commissioning of a complete photovoltaic system, consisting of solar modules with a total installed capacity, an appropriate inverter, supporting structure, and the necessary electrical infrastructure. The implementation of the project will contribute to a significant reduction in energy consumption from external sources, decrease carbon emissions, and mitigate the negative impact of electricity price fluctuations on the company's operations. The expected outcome is improved energy efficiency, increased competitiveness, and long-term sustainability through the decarbonization of the operational process. The project complies with the “Do No Significant Harm” principle and is aligned with national and European objectives for energy transition, climate neutrality, and increasing the share of renewable energy sources in the energy mix.
