Description

Communication Technologies Ltd. was established at the end of 1999. In 2005, the company became a partner with the world-famous Israeli company Sahar Digital Printing and as a result, an additional activity was formed, for now, and in the future, the main activity:
specialized studio for design, prepress and production of advertising products. The main goal is to provide comprehensive solutions for corporate and commercial visual communication – from the idea and design to the final product.
The benefit for the company from building a PV power plant is significant and is in several main areas:
1. Financial benefits
- Reduction of electricity costs – printing houses are energy-intensive enterprises (machines, air conditioners for temperature/humidity control, lighting). The PV plant covers a significant part of the daily consumption.
- Batteries allow cost optimization.
- Faster return on investment – especially with high daily consumption and stable operation of production lines.
- Predictability of energy costs – protection against future electricity price increases.
2. Energy and operational effect
- Reducing the risk of interruption – batteries provide uninterrupted power supply.
- Covering peak loads – printing plants often have sharp peaks when starting machines; batteries absorb this momentum.
- Increasing energy independence – reducing dependence on the electricity distribution company.
3. Environmental and image benefits
- Reducing carbon footprint – key for companies that want to position themselves as sustainable.
- Marketing and brand image – more and more customers value suppliers with “green” production.
- Opportunity to participate in “green” procurements and projects

For a printing house where energy costs are a significant part of the cost of production, the installation of a battery-powered PV system not only reduces running costs, but also ensures energy security, an uninterrupted production process, and a better market image.
