Programme: Programme "Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises" 2021-2027

Planning region: All

Description

The project proposal envisages the implementation of an investment aimed at building a photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) for own consumption, including photovoltaic panels, an inverter and an energy storage system with batteries installed on the roof of the company's own production hall.
The company operates under the main code of the NACE Rev. 25.11 - "Manufacture of metal structures and parts thereof", and the production process is associated with significant energy costs for the operation of metal-cutting machines, welding machines, lighting and ventilation systems.
The aim of the investment is to reduce dependence on external electricity suppliers by using a renewable energy source and ensuring higher energy efficiency and independence of the enterprise. The integrated battery system will allow for the storage of energy produced but not consumed in real time and its use during peak hours or power outages.
The project will lead to a reduction in production costs, limiting carbon emissions and increasing the sustainability and competitiveness of the company in the long term.
The investment will be implemented under the "De minimis aid" regime and with a implementation period of up to 12 months. In its implementation, the company will comply with the EU's horizontal policies on equal treatment, sustainable development and the principle of no significant harm to the environment (DNSH).
