The project will be implemented in village Izgrev, with duration of 12 months. The main project objective is to improve energy efficiency in "CITY GROUP" LTD and to promote and increase the use of energy from renewable sources (RS) in production processes, thereby accelerating its transition to climate neutrality by reducing the carbon footprint and optimizing energy consumption. The project activity includes improving energy efficiency and using energy from renewable sources in the enterprise through the supply and installation of photovoltaic panels in combination with an inverter/s with a capacity of 45 kW and local energy storage facilities /batteries/ in combination with an inverter/s with a capacity of 80 kW to an already built FPC for own needs and sales to the network with capacity of 30 kW. The energy produced and used as a result of the implemented project will be only for own consumption to cover the production needs of the enterprise and will not be subject to a commercial purchase and sale transaction during the sustainability period of 3 years from the final payment under the project. The candidate will bear full responsibility for the quality and completeness of the developed technical documentation, the legality of its preparation, coordination and approval as the Contracting Authority for the project. Investments in assets/equipment/facilities eligible under the procedure in the field of energy efficiency and the use of energy from renewable sources will meet the requirements of applicable national and European legal, including by-laws, regulations. The photovoltaic panels acquired under the project in combination with inverter/s and the local energy storage facilities (batteries) in combination with an inverter will be connected to an already existing PV plant in the enterprise, the energy from which is used solely for its own consumption. As a result, energy efficiency will improve and the competitiveness of the enterprise will increase.
