Description

The project proposal of “NEOPAK” Ltd. is aimed at improving the energy efficiency, competitiveness, and sustainable development of the enterprise through the implementation of modern energy-saving technologies and equipment. The company operates in the non-alcoholic beverages sector, producing children’s fruit juices under the brand “MIKI” and non-carbonated isotonic and energy drinks under the brand “ISOSPORT.” The production process is energy-intensive and includes operations such as filling, cooling, packaging, and storage of the finished products, all of which require stable and efficient management of energy flows.

The present project focuses on enhancing the energy performance of the enterprise’s production building in Blagoevgrad, with the main objective of reducing energy costs, increasing thermal comfort, and improving competitiveness through the implementation of the following key activities:
 - Supply and installation of 1 air-to-water heat pump with a thermal capacity of 12 kW;
- Supply and installation of 1 air compressor with a rated power of 18 kW, including a 1000-liter receiver tank;
- Supply and installation of 1 climate chamber with highly efficient heat, cold, and humidity recovery, with a nominal airflow of 1500 m³/h;
- Replacement of 60 old lighting fixtures with new energy-efficient lighting units (panels/downs) of 50 W each;
- Replacement of 100 m² of deteriorated frames with energy-efficient transparent enclosures (windows and doors) with PVC or wooden frames.

The implementation of the project will contribute to reducing energy losses and optimizing electricity and thermal energy consumption in the production and storage areas. The new equipment will provide higher efficiency in the production process, improved working conditions, and stable indoor microclimate, while simultaneously reducing operational costs and the enterprise’s carbon footprint.
