Yanev Engineering Ltd. is a manufacturer of components for machine and equipment construction: - trolleys for mounting motors and cutting discs for woodworking machines; - legs for woodworking machines; - industrial robot stands; - over 90 different types of details and components for road repair equipment and processing machines for global concerns such as Husqvarna and Kubota; The enterprise does not have a cooling or heating system installed in its production hall. During the summer, high outdoor temperatures combined with the waste heat emitted by the machines create a stressful working environment for the employees and have a negative impact on the production equipment, resulting in a significant decrease in overall productivity. Temperatures in the hall reach above 40°C in the period 15.06–15.09, above 30°C in the periods 01.05–15.06 and 15.09–15.10, and above 25°C in April and at the end of October, while the optimal working temperature is 22°C. Within the framework of the project, “Yanev Engineering” Ltd. declares expenses for the acquisition of assets from Group 2 “Heat Pumps” in accordance with Appendix 4.1: - 2 pcs. heat pumps of the VRF/VRV direct expansion system type with 78.4 kW power; - 1 pc. heat pump of the VRF/VRV direct expansion system type with 72.8 kW power; Through investment in an energy-efficient RES technology for cooling the production hall, directly related to its main economic activity under NACE code 28.49 “Manufacture of other machine tools” the company will not only prevent reduced productivity of workers and machines but will also significantly increase the productivity as a result of ensuring an optimal workplace climate. The project proposal contributes to achieving the objective of the procedure, which is to support Bulgarian enterprises in promoting the use of highly energy-efficient RES technologies in order to accelerate the transition of the private sector towards climate neutrality.
