Description

The project proposal of RIF SOLUTIONS LTD - a manufacturer of home furniture in the city of Blagoevgrad, is aimed at increasing energy efficiency and reducing dependence on conventional energy sources by building a combined heat and power plant for own consumption with an installed capacity of 30kWp, as well as implementing additional local energy storage facilities - batteries in combination with inverters - to the combined heat and power plant built under the project, and 1 heat pump /air-water/ with a capacity of 110kW.
The main goal of the project is to provide sustainable and environmentally friendly electricity to power the production facility, reducing the current energy costs and the carbon footprint of the company. The constructed combined heat and power plant will be located on the roof of the site and will cover a significant part of the daily electricity consumption. The energy produced will be used mainly for the needs of production machines and air conditioning systems, lighting and other electrical appliances necessary for the normal operation of the site.
The energy storage system will allow the accumulation of excess electricity produced during hours of high solar activity and its use during the evening and night hours, when production decreases. This will optimize internal consumption, reduce peak loads and ensure higher energy independence.
The heat pump will provide the necessary comfort for heating and cooling the site.
The project is in line with national and EU priorities for promoting the use of renewable energy sources and increasing energy efficiency in small and medium-sized enterprises. Its implementation will lead to significant electricity savings, reducing operating costs and improving business sustainability. In addition to the environmental effect by limiting greenhouse gas emissions, the project will increase the competitiveness of the company and serve as a good example for the application of green technologies in the sector.
