The project proposal of "Bepro" EAD is aimed at increasing energy efficiency and reducing the carbon footprint of the company's production activities. The company specializes in the design and production of machine elements for industrial applications, carrying out its activities in a production facility located in the village of Sestrimo, Belovo Municipality. The project envisages the purchase and commissioning of a biomass boiler with a capacity of 500 kW, and energy-efficient air coolers 2 x 91 kW. These investments will contribute to reducing energy costs, limiting energy losses and increasing the share of energy used from renewable sources. The implementation of the project will lead to improving the energy efficiency of production processes, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, as well as increasing the competitiveness and sustainability of "Bepro" EAD. The project is in line with the objectives of the Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises Programme 2021–2027, priority "Circular Economy", and contributes to the achievement of national and European goals in the field of green transition and sustainable development.
