The project of "V S - METAL COMPANY" AD envisages the implementation of measures to increase energy efficiency on the territory of the company. The company carries out its main activity under KID 27.52 "Manufacture of non-electrical household appliances". With the aim of sustainable development and reducing energy costs, the project proposal includes the construction and commissioning of a Photovoltaic Power Plant, including photovoltaic panels with an inverter, a local energy storage facility (battery) in combination with an inverter and all necessary components for the operation of the plant, which will be used entirely for its own needs. The company's activity is energy-intensive and dependent on stable and affordable energy sources, as the increase in electricity prices has a direct impact on its competitiveness. The implementation of the investment will allow the use of green energy on site, thus reducing the consumption of electricity from the external network and optimizing operating costs. The expected results of the project implementation include: reducing energy consumption and related operating costs; increasing energy efficiency in the main production and support activities; improving the working environment; reducing the carbon footprint of the enterprise. The investment is in full compliance with the principle of "doing no significant harm" (DNSH) on the environment, meets all applicable environmental standards and contributes to achieving the goals for energy efficiency and sustainable growth at national and European level. By implementing this project, the enterprise will increase its resource efficiency, improve the sustainability of its production and adapt to modern requirements for a low-carbon and energy-efficient economy.
