The project "Energy Efficiency of a Production Building of GID ENGINEERING LTD" aims to improve the energy performance and reduce heat losses in the main production base of the company, located in the city of Sofia, Novi Iskar district, Kremenitsa Str., PI with identifier 00357.5350.1164. "GID ENGINEERING" LTD is an enterprise specializing in the production of metal products. The activity is carried out in a massive industrial building, built decades ago, with an outdated structure and low energy efficiency. The external walls and openings do not meet modern standards for thermal performance, which leads to significant energy losses, reduced comfort and high operating costs. The following investment measures are envisaged within the framework of the project: - installation of energy-efficient thermal insulation systems of sandwich panels for external walls and floors bordering the outside air; - replacement of industrial doors with new sectional models with improved insulation characteristics; - installation of aluminum windows and facade structures with a thermal break and low-emission glazing. The implementation of the project will lead to: - reduction of heat loss and energy consumption; - improvement of working conditions and microclimate in production premises; - reduction of heating and maintenance costs; - reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, contributing to the sustainable development of the enterprise and the achievement of national and European energy efficiency goals. The project is fully consistent with the objectives of the Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises Program 2021–2027 and procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004, aimed at supporting micro, small and medium-sized enterprises to increase their energy efficiency.
