Planning region: All

Description

The activities to be implemented under this project are aimed at improving energy efficiency and achieving sustainable development of ETNA EOOD. They are necessary to address the new challenges associated with the transition to a climate-neutral economy, rising energy prices, and changing working patterns. The subject of this project proposal is investments in fixed assets necessary to reduce the company's carbon footprint and maintain its competitiveness. All this will be achieved through the use of energy-saving heating and cooling systems and the introduction of energy-efficient equipment, namely:

1. Biomass boiler - designed for heating by burning waste wood from production and maximizing the utilization of energy from the fuel.

2. Air-to-water heat pump - an energy-saving heating and cooling system. It is a low-energy, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly solution. The heat pump is not only an environmentally friendly energy-saving solution, but also economically advantageous.

3. Insulation systems in buildings - PVC window frames - achieving higher energy efficiency. Insulating windows significantly increases the thermal insulation of the entire building, saves energy, and reduces heating and cooling costs.

4. Energy-saving lighting fixtures - optimizing energy consumption and improving lighting.

All these investments in heating and cooling from energy-saving systems, better insulation of the production hall, and optimization of the energy used for lighting will contribute to the security, sustainability, and competitiveness of ETNA EOOD. Over the years, the company has invested in low-energy machinery and equipment, improving the thermal insulation of the production hall through partial insulation and roof replacement, but this is not enough to achieve its goals.
