The project proposal of “AVKO” JSC is aimed at improving energy efficiency, reducing energy intensity, and enhancing the sustainability of production through the implementation of energy-efficient modern technologies at the company’s two production facilities – in the cities of Sevlievo and Ruse. Within the framework of the project, it is planned to introduce a new compressor with inverter control and air dryer (10 kW), a 500-liter air receiver, two energy-efficient air coolers, and a new lighting system at the Sevlievo base. At the Ruse production base, the investment includes two chillers, six air coolers, and an energy-saving lighting system consisting of high-bay lights and linear fixtures. The implementation of the project will result in a significant reduction in electricity costs, increased efficiency of technological processes, and a lower share of conventional energy expenses in the company’s total production costs. By introducing energy-efficient equipment and lighting systems, the project will optimize production resources, reduce the carbon footprint, and ensure the long-term economic sustainability of the enterprise. The project is fully aligned with the “Do No Significant Harm” principle and supports both national and European objectives for energy efficiency, sustainable development, and the transition to a green industrial economy.
