The project of "NIKSI"EOOD is aimed at implementing energy-efficient measures at the enterprise's site - a catering establishment with a main economic activity 56.10"Restaurant and quick service establishment activities". Currently,the building has outdated joinery and insufficient thermal insulation,which leads to significant losses of energy for heating and cooling. This increases operating costs and hinders the financial sustainability of the company. In addition to the economic impact, high energy consumption has a negative impact on the carbon footprint and the environment, which is contrary to the aspiration of "NIKSI"EOOD to develop its business in accordance with the principles of sustainable development and responsible use of resources. The project envisages: -Installation of thermal insulation systems of sandwich panels on the roof structure -Replacement of outdated joinery with PVC -Installation of an air-to-air heat pump The need for this support stems from the strong dependence of the restaurant sector on energy prices and from the limited own investment resources for modernization. By financing under the procedure, the enterprise will be able to implement important improvements that would otherwise be postponed or not implemented. The expected results of the project are a reduction in energy consumption and current costs, which will increase the efficiency and competitiveness of "NIKSI"EOOD.The implemented measures will improve working and service conditions, while at the same time contributing to environmental protection by reducing the carbon footprint. In this way,the enterprise will strengthen its image as a modern and socially responsible organization. The project proposal is fully consistent with the objectives of the procedure "Energy efficiency and use of energy from renewable sources in enterprises"-promoting energy efficiency, sustainable development and increasing the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises in Bulgaria.
