Description

Lemans BL Ltd. is a leading manufacturer of paper and plastic packaging, operating in the city of Asenovgrad, but selling its products throughout the country.

Packaging production requires a significant amount of energy, which leads to high electricity costs and dependence on fluctuations in the electricity market. The company has already invested in a photovoltaic installation (PVPP) to generate its own electricity, but the intermittent production of solar energy limits its full use. The lack of the ability to store the generated energy leads to losses and requires the purchase of electricity from the grid at times of low PVPP production, especially at the beginning and end of the working day, when electricity exchange prices are at their peak.

Main objective: Increasing energy efficiency by implementing an electricity storage system generated by its own PVPP.

Specific objectives:
Ensuring greater energy independence by optimizing the use of its own electricity production.
Reducing electricity costs by reducing the purchase of electricity from the grid.
Reducing the company's carbon footprint by increasing the use of renewable energy sources.
Improving the company's competitiveness by reducing operating costs.

Expected results:

Installed 150 kWh electricity storage system.
Balanced consumption of own electricity throughout the working day.
Reducing the consumption of energy produced from fossil fuels.
Optimizing production costs by reducing the consumption of supplied electricity from

The main activity of the project is the supply and installation of a 150 kWh energy storage system and synchronization with an operating FtPP for own needs.
