The project proposal of "GIS" EOOD is aimed at building a photovoltaic power plant (PPP) for own consumption in the company's production and service base, located in the city of Pleven, in order to reduce energy costs and increase the energy efficiency of the activity. The company specializes in import, renovation, service, sale and export of used (refurbished) computer and multimedia equipment, including laptops, desktop computers, televisions, smartphones, monitors and peripherals. The production activity includes diagnostics, repair, testing, cleaning, component renewal and recalibration, which are carried out using energy-intensive machines and equipment - test stations, reballing ovens, compressor systems, suctions, soldering stations and high-precision tools. The company's existing infrastructure includes a large indoor working area, suitable for installation of photovoltaic modules on the roof structure. The investment envisages the installation of a photovoltaic power plant with a capacity tailored to actual consumption, so that the generated electricity is used entirely for the needs of the enterprise, without being fed into the electricity distribution network. The system is also planned to be equipped with an energy storage system (batteries), which will allow the accumulation of the generated electricity during the day and its use during hours with lower sunlight or during increased evening load on the service base. This will ensure higher energy independence and will allow optimal operation of the production machines, even during peak consumption. The implementation of the project will lead to: - - Reducing dependence on external electricity suppliers; - Reducing the energy costs of the enterprise by over 25%; - Improving the sustainability and predictability of costs; - Reducing the carbon footprint through the use of renewable energy; - Increasing the competitiveness of "GIS" EOOD.
