Description

The project of “DRUSTAR SPEDITION” Ltd. is aimed at improving energy efficiency and increasing the use of energy from renewable sources in the company’s operations, which involve the storage and warehousing of goods. The implementation of the project envisages the replacement of the existing window frames with new aluminum frames with a thermal break, covering a total area of 9 sq.m., which will contribute to reducing heat losses and improving the thermal insulation characteristics of the building. It is planned to construct a photovoltaic power plant for self-consumption with an installed capacity of 30 kWp, which will provide clean renewable electricity and reduce dependence on external energy suppliers. The project also includes the installation of local energy storage facilities with a total capacity of 32.4 kWh, ensuring efficient management and balancing of energy consumption. Furthermore, three high-efficiency VRV heat pump systems with direct expansion will be installed — one serving the administrative area of the base with an installed capacity of 25 kW, and two serving the warehouse area with an installed capacity of 37.5 kW each. Through the implementation of the project, the company will achieve a significant reduction in energy costs, optimization of energy consumption, reduction of its carbon footprint, and improvement of its competitiveness. The planned activities are fully in line with the objectives of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 “Energy Efficiency and Use of Renewable Energy in Enterprises” and will contribute to the transition towards climate neutrality and sustainable development.
